Caranavi is home to an 85 family Co-Op in the highlands east of La Paz, producing one of our seasonal favorites. Grown at an altitude roughly 4500-5500 ft. above sea level, we found this South American peaberry to be bold, sharp and assertive. We detected a slight pistachio flavor, followed by a sweet, almost tangy finish. We are proud to offer this Fair Trade Organically grown coffee.
Guatemalan Huehuetenango El Injertal

At an elevation of over a mile high, the El Injertal is a third generation family farm located in the Huehuetenango region of western Guatemala. Favorable tropic growing conditions have produced another outstanding bean. We experienced a creamy, almond-like cup, with hints of milk chocolate. Subtle caramel notes accentuate this popular Central American coffee complete with a light syrupy finish. What can we say, we love this coffee!
Panama Boquete Classico

A well rounded, smooth, medium bodied coffee with an exemplary finish of a true classic Central American coffee. The Boquete Classico is slightly dry, with black pepper and almond undertones. You will find this Panamanian coffee extremely clean, smooth and refreshingly simple. Another wonderful harvest exported by the Casa Ruiz Estates.

Our Guatemalan Huehuetanango Water Processed Decaf is produced from the same Guatemalan coffee we normally roast here in the shop. True to it's origin, this is an intensely complex coffee, while still medium in body. I honestly can not taste the difference between this Decaf and its caffeinated counterpart. Simply stunning quality!
Sumatra Natural Decaf
