New Latin American Coffee:

Panama Boquete from Casa Ruiz
Received 3/28/2007
Don't miss this wonderful coffee! Casa Ruiz Estate has produced a smooth, round, full bodied coffee with a medium finish that is the perfect example of a classic Central American coffee. Slightly dry, with an unmistakable essence of bittersweet chocolate and a smooth finish, this coffee is much less "forward" and snappy then the Guatemalan coffees, more like a high quality Colombian for it's simple, good nature.

BOLIVIA FT ORGANIC CENAPROC
Grower Certified Organic, Fair Trade
Received 3/28/2007
Our first Bolivian coffee! This coffee is in extremely short supply. Our Bolivian coffee is roasting up heavy and sharp, with a distinct liquorish cup. Here's your chance to try something rare and unusual.

El Salvador "Pulp Natural" Santa Isabel
Received 3/28/2007
Once again we have a small offering of the fabulous Salvador from Santa Isabel. This small lot of 70 bags was split evenly between natural coffees and water processed decaf. This gave us the opportunity to offer you both!

"Pulp Natural" describes the drying process, where the sweet fruit pulp is left to dry with the bean until the final milling takes place. This produces a sweet fruity cup unlike any other Central American - and NOTHING like any Salvador coffee I've ever tasted. This is a bold, earthy and complex bean.
Now available in DECAF!

Guatemala Huehuetanango Asobagri Co-Op
Received 3/28/2007
Sweet Guatemalan Huehuetanango offers a complex cup of flavors found only in the highest grown Central American coffee. Bittersweet chocolate flavors with complex spice and a touch of smoke. Smooth and medium bodied, yet complex and spicy - when asked to recommend our most popular coffee, Guatemalan Huehuetenango is always number one on my list.

Colombian Supremo Huila Valencia
Received 3/28/2007
Sweet caramel balanced with a soft buttery finish. This Colombian is an outstanding medium bodied cup, clean and bright. Judged the best Colombian coffee at the hight of season by our importers, this Colombian exemplifies "specialty Coffee" from a country best known for commercial grade and quantity.

New African Coffee:

Tanzania Ruvuma AAA
Received 3/28/2007
Sweet African coffee with an intense bright lemon syrup finish. Much brighter than a Kenya, more lemony than a Costa Rican! Very light and intense. Completely amazing coffee, a stunning find.

New Indonesian Coffee:

Flores Bajawa
Received 3/28/2007
Flores is an island in the Indonesian archipelago, located between Java and Timor. The coffee is sweet, full bodied and Java-like. This coffee produces a black cup of sweet liquorice, very clean and thick and syrupy. I was informed this was an extremely rare opportunity, almost certainly a "one time buy" of this exotic rare coffee.

Timor Peaberry Maubes FT Organic
Grower Certified Organic, Fair Trade
Received 3/28/2007
Beautiful Indonesian Timor Peaberry! An exciting new twist on a thick, smooth drink of mellow Indonesian coffee. Most interesting is the sweet butterscotch syrup finish of this Fair Trade Organic Peaberry from Maubes.

New Water Process Decaf:

El Salvador Pulp Natural Decaf
Received 3/28/2007
Our latest example of an incredible new decaf experience!
We have received a small quantity of the incredible El Salvador Pulp Natural coffee, water processed in Veracruz Mexico. A stunning example of our new Royal Select Decaf program, we now serve this Salvador Pulp Natural coffee as regular coffee and decaf simultaneously.
