New "Pulp Natrural" Salvidor coffee

New "Pulp Natrural" Salvidor coffee!

Ready for something new and unusual?
I've just had my first cup of the "Pulp Natural" Salvidor from Santa Isabel. While you may be familiar with our standard Salvidor coffee, this is a completely different experience! "Pulp Natural" describes the drying process, where the sweet fruit pulp is left to dry with the bean until the final milling takes place. This produces a sweet fruity cup unlike any other Central American - and NOTHING like any Salvidor coffee I've ever tasted. Get your mouth ready for something new!

Peruvian season has arrived in earnest, and I'm roasting a Fair Trade Organic Maranan. This is a completely clean, mild, almost transparent coffee, completely neutral in contrast to our many wild exotics. What a contrast! Never bitter, overpowering or shocking, you can count on this Peruvian Organic to deliver a completely soft and soothing cup.

Welcoming in the cold weather season begins in earnest with new Indonesian coffee! We have the first delivery of a very high quality Timor coffee, a Fair Trade Organic from Maubes. Clean yet earthy with a rare butterscotch syrup finish that always delights and amazes me.

This month I'm roasting yet another distinct style of Sumatra, a new Mandheling that roasts up extremely thick and earthy, with a sweet twist of lemon finish that will drive the traditional Sumatra drinker wild. this coffee is NOT for the faint of heart!

Looking for a new Decaf?
How about a Water Processed Sumatra Mandheling! A traditionally dried, musky Sumatra, water processing "cleans up" the cup to deliver a unique coffee that is shocking, heavy, sweet with syrup and unmistakably Indonesian in it's earthy body. Trying this new coffee is an absolute must for the discriminating Decaf Aficionado.

And now, Hot New coffee links!
