Central American Coffees are Back!

Our favorite Central American coffees are in stock! We are once again offering Guatemalan Huehuetanango from Finca Injerto, Costa Rican Monte Cresol, and Salvidor from the Piple co-op.

400 pounds of the now infamous Red Sea Blend have arrived! Last Month this amazing wild African coffee flew out the door and was out of stock in only 10 days.

THIS WEEKS NEW COFFEES Received 5/04/2006

Red Sea Blend
Received 5/04/2006 - This should last 3 weeks!
Blended by our Importers at Royal coffee, this is an extremely sweet, fruity sharp African blend. Wine-like Ethiopian Harar, Mocha Yemen Sinani and Ethiopian Yergacheffe are combined in equal parts to create this coffee. Highly Recommended!

Guatemala Huehuetanango - Grower Certified Organic
Received 5/04/2006 - Coffee Candy!

Our first roast of this years crop developed a light color and sweet syrup finish to the cup. This Central American coffee is always a favorite with my customers. Sharp, sweet and earthy, you can expect a rich complex cup, medium bodied with a beautiful balance of complex flavors.

Costa Rica Monte Crisol
Received 5/04/2006
Our very favorite Costa Rican coffee is distinctly crisp, clean and refreshing, with just a hint of citrus - A great Costa that "snaps" with flavor then leaves the palette clean. This is no ordinary coffee, a light, refreshing cup of sunshine from Central America!

El Salvador - Grower Certified Organic
Received 5/04/2006 - It's Back once again!

San Rafael Los Naranjos (the Piple Co-Operative) produces an earthy coffee with the unmistakable aroma of crushed black pepper that drives me wild over coffees from El Salvador. A fine example of what makes specialty coffees such a delight, this is a distinctly Central American classic.

Peruvian Cajamarca Estate - Grower Certified Organic
Delivered 5/04/2006
A slightly stronger delivery, medium in both body and roast with a bit more bite. Peruvian coffees are the smoothest, "easy drinking" specialty coffees, well known and loved for consistent smooth body and fruity highlights.

Sumatra Blue Mandheling - Grower Certified Organic
Received 5/04/2006
A wonderful Sumatra, I taste a very satisfying balance between the earthy Sumatra coffee and the classic process of drying. This has created a coffee which is satisfyingly earthy and full bodied, while well rounded, this offering is less sweet, more heavily "musk".

Timor Peaberry - Grower Certified Organic
Received 5/04/2006 - Our Last 300 pounds for this year!
Clean modern Indonesian coffee, this spicy little pea has the distinctly smoky flavor with a subtle hint of Vanilla beans. This is a very unusual and exciting new coffee in the shop!

******************************

A total of 21 sacks of fresh green bean have been delivered, we are roasting and cupping even as I type. It's a bit early to tell just how long these coffees will last, if last month was any indication, we could begin to sell out of your favorite coffees in as quickly as two weeks.

My advice is to order early to avoid disappointment! Last month I received many phone calls and emails looking for coffee days after they where out of stock. Thanks as always and have a wonderful springtime!
