New Coffee Availability List:

Brazilian Cerrado
Received 05/27/08 1lb. bag $12.99
Brazil is the largest tropical country on earth, containing one third of the world's rain forests. The Cerrado is found on the high, flat, central plateau of Brazil, and is the richest and most biodiverse woodland-savanna in the entire world. Brazil coffee is nutty, sweet, low-acid, and develops an exceptionally bittersweet and chocolate cup with a velvety mouth feel.

Colombian Mesa De Santos
Received 5/27/2008 1lb. bag $12.99
Grower Certified Organic, Fair Trade, Bird Friendly, Rain Forest Alliance
"Mesa de los Santos" is grown near the town of Los Santos within the Bucaramanga region of Colombia. A lovely coffee from one of the oldest, most responsible and well run estates in Colombia, the farmers use a traditional process of cultivation that is organically grown, Rainforest Alliance Certified, and Bird Friendly. This medium to heavy bodied coffee is an excellent example of a fine Colombian. With a sweet aroma and a hint of citrus & chocolate, it is bright, well-rounded, and somewhat floral.

Mexican Pluma Tres Oros
Received 5/27/2008 1lb. bag $12.99
Pluma Altura is one of the most renowned classifications of coffee in Mexico. Grown by a group of small Oaxacan farms, Tres Oros (three gold stars) is the mill name given to this coffee. Oaxaca is a beautiful region of Mexico, with a rich heritage of Zapotec, Mixtec, and other native cultures. Coffee from Tres Oros is bright, with subtle maple syrup sweetened black tea notes and a golden brown liqueur finish. If you enjoy a clean mild coffee with the classic medium body of a Latin American bean, you'll love this coffee!

Nicaragua Segovia
Received 5/27/2008 1lb. bag $12.99
Nueva Segovia is in Northern Nicaragua, a mountainous area rich with pine forests, hot springs, waterfalls, and coffee. Fertile soils and high altitude growing has produced a smooth, medium bodied coffee with mellow characteristics. Hints of fennel and cardamum begin a cup that finishes with a subtle, sweet toasted flavor.

Panama Boquete Classico
Received 5/27/2008 1lb. bag $12.99
A well rounded, medium bodied coffee with an exemplary finish of a true classic Central American coffee. The Boquete Classico is slightly dry, with black pepper and almond undertones. You'll find this Panamanian coffee extremely clean, smooth and refreshingly simple. Another wonderful coffee exported by the Casa Ruiz Estates.
